If I gave you a $100 bill, what spinning reel would you buy?

Scheels had stradics on sale for $100 a few years back right before freeze up; always wish I woulda bought 10 of them to this day.
They ran the same deal on smokes last year, definitely picked a few.
Love the smokes but 2 downfalls; no reverse switch and at times the bail catches part of the body forcing you to manually quarter crank the reel by hand 1 out of 5-7 casts.

I’d buy a few Okuma reels, then I’d probably be set for life. I have one that was the first spinning reel I ever owned an still use it. It’s over 15 years old and is still catching fish

I would get 2 PFleuger presidents on sale and not even think twice. I have tried many and talked to guys with $200 spinning reels. Everyone i talk to says the same thing. For 59.99 regular price the president is the best.

I bought one of these a few years ago when they had them on sale for $60. Great reel but I did not see it worth the extra $50 over the president

Presidents are good. I just prefer the lightest reel I can for $$

Yup, great reel for the money.

Or, two Presidents ($50 each). Wear one out, then grab a new one..

But stay away from the President XTs if you cast a lot....the line will get pinched in the roller.

Presidents great but I'll take light. Part of being over a certain age or something like that and pitching most of the time. Worth more casts each day for this ol man but if 30 again two for $50 Alex

I would say that the top three reels on the market in our area are Shimano's Ci4, Daiwas Tatula/Ballistic and the Daiwa Fuego
