My odds aren't very good this year. Managed one last year with only 4 preference points.

Should get this guy back from the taxidermist soon.

When I had a tag in 2014 I received it in the mail several days after the archery season opened . Why rush it

On the Game and Fish website all dates are listed as tentative. So are the Unit Numbers.

Can a guy just buy a preference point for pronghorn too?

The answer is yes - I bought a preference point last year since I had a heart attack and couldn't use a tag if I had gotten drawn. I have 6 preference points this year.

Pronghorn, Swan Applications Online

Pronghorn and swan applications are now available online at the North Dakota Game and Fish Department website, gf.nd.gov.
Only North Dakota residents are eligible to apply for a pronghorn license. The pronghorn license fee is $30 for ages 16 and older, and $10 for under age 16. Applicants for a pronghorn lottery license must be at least 12 years of age on or before December 31, 2019. The deadline for submitting pronghorn applications is Aug. 7.
North Dakota residents and nonresidents are eligible to apply for a swan license. The resident swan license is $10, while the nonresident fee is $30. The deadline for applying for swan is Aug. 14.
Applicants who do not have access to a computer can submit the application at a public service location such as a public library, stop at a Game and Fish office, or request help from a friend, relative or neighbor.
