Ok here is the deal. We took fourth place in the new town tournament. The payout sheet that we found on there web site says 2500. They only paid us 1600. We brought this to Keenan attention. Now he tells me that there is multiple different pay out sheets. And what he paid us is the correct amount. From what I can tell about this casino cup tournaments it’s ran by a bunch of idiots that can’t get there crap together. Sorry about the rant and pissing and moaning

And wouldn’t you know it, you get the lesser amount out of the two numbers. Lol.
This is why you don’t fish Rez tournaments. Every year this tourney comes up about how they don’t pay, or they used three different scales. Now the payouts are less. Don’t fish it!

Not to be too abrasive but you get what you pay for. Fisherman continue to be fairly short sighted and don’t realize we continue to enable this crap by participating. If you enter a casino tournament, you play by there rules regardless of what is documented.

Maybe next year there will be even more people fishing which of course means a smaller payout.

I compared the payouts that was posted on another thread, did the math, if those were the only payout sheets floating around,
Total payout for both is $32,000 only difference is they restructured so that from 9th to 19th gets more money, 3rd to 7th lose money
AND...if they had total of 119 teams, they made money.
119 teams @300 = $35,700 - $32,000 = $3,700

Now, on the other had, if they only had 100 teams....well, they would have lost money - $2,000

Either way, sounds like they pass around the peace pipe too much among themselves = a shit show

Just south of Canada eh
Has anyone contacted Troy Morris? He's the Ranger rep that was present at the Devil's Lake Casino Cup and being Ranger has their label on this series I would think he'd be able to straighten out some of this mess or have some swing.

Sounds like a poorly ran event. I did the DL Casino and it had a few small hiccups; but overall ran well.

I think your math is accurate; but based on the need for a sanctioned tourney to turn 10% over to NDGF they have 100% payout. Or at least close.

Yeah its kind of funny and ironic at the same time that you have these casino tournaments that always leave negative tastes in peoples mouth but are always full and have people come back for more.

Then you have what seems like a well run tournament in the AIM series that cant even fill the field 50%...

Sounds like the total payout wasn’t different so it’s not like they took money away overall.

Lesson learned from all of this? If you ain’t first you’re last!

Come on guys that's enough, you guys are getting personal. Making comments on the internet is very childish and very unprofessional. Also I am not a big fan of your guy's rez math and Peace pipe jokes.
