The best steak I ever had was at a place called Manny's in Minneapolis. I think it was around $90 but I didn't pay for it so that made it even better. Damn thing even came with it's own serial number! Every steak I have ate since just doesn't compare (restaurant or at home). Has anyone ever found dry aged beef locally?

Prime Cuts in Fargo has occasionally stocked dry aged bone-in ribeyes.

The only thing that puppy's missing is 36 bday candles for my next one.. Absolutely LOVE me some filet mignon like the boiler room in fargo serves with their eggs.

That's actually a chunk of elk backstrap.

There is some "dry aged beef" in my north pasture, but you might have to fight a few yotes for some.

6 weeks aged. A steakhouse in the New York New York. Think it was called Galigers. Was almost as good as the steaks I cook and turn half way through each side.
believe it was a $150 piece of flesh.

Best red meat is when your cutting up your deer. Electric skillet, salt and pepper, butter and those little slivers next to the leg bones that should never ever go into the burger pile. Doe tags for me and wife so should have a bite or two this November.

40 Steakhouse in Bismarck dry ages their own steaks. It is fun to visit their salt cave with a scotch in hand and have them describe the process. I have had one, it was very good (and I didn't pay for it either so it was much better that way!).

I've always liked a Ruth's Chris fillet, but the most unique steak I've ever had was a Wagyu A5 from Tom Colicchio's Craft Steak in Vegas. The flavor was amazing....the consistency of the meat was almost too tender.

I’ve been to Ruth’s Chris twice. Both times IMO the flavor that stood out above everything was was burned butter, not great steak. For the $$ RC charges, I’ll go elsewhere.

Jiffy, what’s with the green rabbit turds in the top pic?

Maxwell's in West Fargo has a HEREFORD RESERVE BEEF TENDERLOIN that is legit, I have also heard great things about their DRY AGED 30 DAY BONE-IN 18 OZ. WAGYU BEEF RIB EYE, however for the price I would hands down take SDMF’s green egg meat any day of the week

I have a set of these but I have yet to try them out. Need to get to a Costco and buy a Prime strip or rib loin. Be prepared to lose about 45% of your product through the aging process and trimming. Ends up being some pretty spendy meat/lb after that.
