I just picked up one of these after lifting my portable into the pickup this week and realizing I’m not as young as I used to be. Excited to try it out.

you better have a fast drill - takes FOREVER

I bought one - used it twice - then I either lost it or it was stolen (had it, a synthetic cable, and some expensive ropes in a 5 gallon bucket that disappeared last spring)

I have some nice fresh ground, fresh brewed coffee to drink this morning. I checked and Santa was here too, left the Labs a new toy each and a nice cigar for me.

Been snowing off and on since yesterday morning, I have a white Christmas here. :;:smokin

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of you!!

I picked myself up a .25 caliber Benjamin Marauder. It's super quiet for incognito critter control. Packs a punch as well.

A $30 come along is a fine tool for solo deer loading. In a pickup-box, run a length of chain, rope, or cable between the anchor points in the front of the box and hook the come along to the chain/rope/cable.

For an SUV, Grandpa had a 2x4 with an eye-bolt he'd put on the front side of the back-seats with the eye-bolt sticking through the gap between the fold-down sections of the upright part of the back seats and hook the come along to the eye-bolt.
