I just sold a pair 1 year old for 1300, just wasn't happy with them. Bought me a pair of 1 year old EL's for 200 more, what a difference, extremely happy with them. I liked my old 8x42s slc from around 2000 allot more than the new ones, like they dumbed them down or something. I had a pair of Zeis victory 10x42 FL T that I really liked allot, extremely good glass, tad bulky.
