What’s everyone’s favorite sippin whiskey? I sip on pendalton and crown, but maybe it’s time to stop being an uncultured swine and broaden my horizons. In my mid forties and never tried much for other types of whiskey.

Any experience with cognac? My dad always talked about it when he was stationed in France. Thought of trying it but have no idea on what to get.

Wild Turkey single barrel or Four Roses single barrel

Start with Hennessy. I enjoy incredible hulks (50/50 Hennessy/Hypnotic on the rocks)

I prefer Grande Canadian. Most of the newer high ends are aged for smoothness but IMHO they take the whisky taste out of them, too. Thing that frosts my ass is that some of my spendy whisky drinking buddies will preach the spirits virtues, then mix it with soda pop. You just ruined two good drinks.

No where near a whiskey expert as my preferred beverage is beer, But I do find that Bird Dog in blackberry flavor tastes really good while making sausage.

Fiddich or Mcallan or whatever its called is what the wife prefers. I dont mind either but Im not a big whiskey guy, she buys it and I drink whats in the cupboard. Ill throw a shot or two into a glass of coke or sprite and call it good, thats akin to blasphemy to her!

Whatever your brand, if you don’t sip from one of these I feel sorry for you.
