Sawyer,
Yeah I’m thinking we got 4-5 inches between the last two nights south of Minot. This morning was definitely a fluffy 3 inches.

Really fluffy 3 inches in Yates. Took me 15 minutes to clear it away.

Solid inch up north. We've really dodged some bullets this year. Worried that we'll have the bullseye on our backs up here come feb-march.

The cold isn't so bad, its the ever present freezing ass wind that sucks balls. Today would have been a nice day with the sun shining even though it was below zero, it was the cold ass NW wind all day that effing ruined it. Wind in the winter makes me not want to do much outside. Snow and wind together is the ultimate motherfucker to winter fun.

I can do cold, and I can do hot. I cannot do the wind. Living in the wrong place.

Indeed. Dead calm a guy can handle just about anything. Wind blows.

unless it’s 70 degrees and a slight breeze it seems I’ll find a way to complain. It’s in our genes up here I think. It’s one of the weird things I’ve noticed in my small amount of travel is how fixated on the weather Midwesterner’s are on the weather... and complaining about it ha.

WELL Schools are all closed in my area and I just pulled up the NDDOT map and all Roads are no travel. Looks like wife is going to have a 3 day weekend again. It hasn't even begun to snow yet. Just that thick inch that we got the last time blowing around on the ice crusted stuff. Power has been going on and off too. Red River Valley going to get it again. AGHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. Stay safe out there.

I feel sorry for people with permanent ice shacks in ND. They're so nice but having to babysit them in these ####storms really has to suck.

Very much depends on which side your on. If your out east it sucks out west not so much. Forecast looks to warm up quite a bit next week so that's good.

So does this model say 4 feet of snow in the East and only 2 feet of snow in the West?

Fargo:

A spokesperson with Valley Bus has confirmed with Valley News Live that a person snow blowing was hit by a school bus Friday.

Valley Bus says around 8:00 Friday morning, the bus was driving on Pine Parkway south of 52nd Ave on its normal route in whiteout conditions at the time of the crash.
A friend of the woman who was hit says she now has a broken wrist, broken rib, punctured lung, a concussion and several cuts.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and Valley Bus says it took about an hour to get the bus out of the neighborhood.
The kids on the bus were delayed getting to school by about an hour.
