Ok, so I am in need of some sort of scope for my Ruger 10-22. Mostly just use for yard vermin. 40-50 yard shots would be the norm.

I sure don't need a Leupold VX Iv, or anything ridiculous. But I am curious as to what you all use outside of the iron sights it also has available.

Options and reasons you use what you do are all appreciated.

I have a Leupold FX-II 2 1/2 power scope on one of my 10-22s and 2 of my Remington nylon 66's. They work great and in 30 years I've never had a problem with any of them.

Under $30 and performs like this, what the heck!
I like the guys commentary, he actually put his spendy leupold through the same torture test in another video.

3-12x50mm IR Huntmaster Pro Rifle Scope by Barska. I've been using this one for a few years now with no issues. Definitely not the speediest but I've shot a ton of rounds through mine and had real good luck so far.

I have one of my 10/22 set up with a Firefox laser and aluminated red dot for those nighttime skunk and coon. The other 10/22 has a Bushnell AR/22 2/7 on a Archangel stocked 10/22 with cadwell bipod, just a cool looking tack driver.

I have a Scheels rimfire 4x32 that has been bulletproof for about 10 years. Also have another with a Nikon Buckmasters 3-9x40 that is on there because it was a take off of another rifle that got upgraded. I prefer the Scheels rimfire with the thinner reticle.

Anyone using a reflex site? How are they out in the elements as opposed to the showroom floor?

I love 10/22’s! Just had to throw that in there. And a mark IV, but that’s for another thread:)

I only have one Ruger 10/22. It is an older one bought it new in 1968. I have an older Bushnell Scopechief 2.5X8. That is a good quality scope in its day and I am still happy with it. Now I would probably get the 2-7 Rimfire Leupold

I've got some cheap Barska scopes mounted on cheap Savage 17 HMRs. 3-9x40. Great to 100 yds, ok beyond that. Around $45 at Fleet Farm, found them for $30 on Amazon once.
