Mike..Mike..Mike..Mike ;:;rofl Sorry! So how do you do your wings when you smoke them? When I do them on the smoker its at 220 degrees for 2 hours, then I fire up the BBQ to finish then and get them crispy. As far as the babybacks go they will smoke at 220 for 4 hours then get foil wrapped and into the oven at 300 for 2 hours, then onto a HOT BBQ to get a crisp on the outside.

Spray butter. Right at the 2 hour mark. If you want really crispy wings, get a deep fryer.

Jalapeno poppers on the Traeger along with wings on the same grill. Elk stuffed mushrooms in the oven and some kind of dip my wife is preparing. Snack food for grazing is the plan.

Made some lil smokies wrapped in bacon, smothered in brown sugar, and baked. The little buggers were pretty good.

Smoked wings are so freaking good. Whole ‘nother layer of flavor. I’m told a guy needs to steam wings before the actual cooking to get them really crispy. I’ve never tried it but I will some day. Steam, smoke, finish on the grill.

Never heard of steaming them, but my favorite process is brine, smoke until 155ish, and then drop in a hot fryer for a couple minutes. Toss in your favorite wing sauce after.

Smoked and crispy wings is a breeze on a pellet grill. Low and slow for as long as you want. I usually go around 225 for 1.5-2 hours and then crank it up to 350 or higher and go until your desired crisp level is reached.
