The local shop class is building me a hunting blind and need to know what kind of windows I will be using. I think I want windows that tip up inside, I also want to be able to shoot a bow out of it. Any experience out there with what brand/type of window works best?

You want windows that allow for the whole opening to be open. Sliders suck as you only have half of the opening.
Something that is quiet too which you already know.

If your shooting bow you will want some vertical windows. My blinds have both. They are plexiglas and swing from the inside.
Mounted this one on an old snowmobile trailer so I can move it around easy. Put camper scissor Jack's on the corners, works slick.

I put deerview windows in my blind but didn’t think I needed any vertical windows which I regret for bowhunting purposes. They can be installed vertically or horizontally and they flip up/down/right/left from the inside. I think they’re pretty slick and the pricing didn’t break the bank.

Ive been looking at that brand as well, quality and price look good.

If you have time and cost is an issue look around for someone who is installing new windows on their house. If the glass is good it's usually pretty easy to build a new frame and you have a good 2 or 3-pane window. Most of the time they'll be glad to give the window away as they don't have to dispose of it.
