$4,000,000, I don't know???

Today we counted 110 rigs at Hazelton and 75 at Rifle Range. 10 at Beaver bay and one kayak at McDowell dam!!!! From above the Hazelton boat ramp on the hill I could count 99 boats fishing the river from just north of Ft. Rice ramp to north of Hazelton ramp.

Two rigs from MN at Rifle and 2 rigs from SD and one from Mt and one from MN in the zoo fest at Hazelton. Rest were from ND. I wanted to get my sticky pad out and put notes on the out of staters with this shelter in place going on but didn't.

20 boats at $50,000 a piece is one million. Now, they weren’t ALL sparklers but...damn.

Not all, but a really large percentage of them are too shiney. I ride my 16 year old Lund and while it was a pretty solid ride back then (and still is), it's hard not to suffer at least a little boat envy when you have a pair of Vexxus rides around you. T'wasn't today, but I was in that position earlier this spring.

Avg pickup = $40k, average boat down there today was probably $30k. So $70k times 110 = 7.7 million.

I am happy as an ugly whore at a blind mans convention with my 13yr old Lund proV. I figure I am still at about $48.99/lb of walleye I have pulled out of that livewell.
cant imagine spending $80,000 on a northern water boat. It’s like getting hammered on Don Perignon

Right! I pull my boat out of the water and am 10 miles down the damn road before any of the 10 sparkly owners off the ramp ahead of me have even finished "wiping down their babies" much less started to clean their fish.

I love my 1991 Warrior, its paid for, actually paid cash for it, what I think is around 15 years ago. I could give 2 shits about what anyone else has that is better then mine or what they think about my old dependable boat. With the way things have gone here in the last 2 to 3 months, it will be interesting to see how many of those new pricy boats and pickups come up for sale.

Oh, you should drive through the camp grounds in Mobridge over packed weekends. A lot of pads have Well over $100,000 worth of pick-ups, campers, and boats. Not to mention the cars the wives bring too.

Yep plenty of $200k combos these days between the three. Then you also need the SxS to tool around the campground.

Right on! I love my buddies’ big fiberglass boats and while I could afford one, I just can’t justify it. I especially don’t want to break it down to dollars/pound. When I was shopping it came down to a customized 60k Larson FX and a 13k Crestliner, which I went with. Gramps fished lake vermillion in a wood 14 footer, I should be alright. Now if I’m fishing the gulf, then I can easily justify a 75k Mako.

I was worried that they or someone was going to get capsized. I usually avoid crowds and that was the first time at hazelton in quite awhile

Do any of you remember a few years ago when Marco Rubio was getting bad press for him owning an $80,000 fishing boat in Florida? I laughed as I thought about how many of those boats were in this state. I don't own one but am one who likes new trucks and a nice car for my wife.

I thought for the most part everyone was pretty polite. Nothing really unsafe.
