"He's gonna get gored!" yells one guy when he sees a fellow cowboy chase a bunch of polled (Angus?) bulls into a thicket.

I LOL'd for a solid minute.

LOL # 2

Hundreds of dead cattle died due to alfalfa bales dropped from a plane.

1. Alfalfa hay has been dried - so no cause for bloat.
2. Imagine how much fresh alfalfa you'd have to air drop to kill hundreds of cattle.

If I recall, they then had to burn that field down due to risk of alfalfa taking root?

Using flame throwers? (or was that Fortitude)

The examples are endless. And at the same time endlessly entertaining thank goodness.

Realistic? No. Entertaining? Hell yes. Still more believable than most of the news and a hell of a lot more entertaining!!

LOL. I forgot about that one and the goring. I was trying to mentally figure out just how much alfalfa they would have had to drop to kill all those cows.

Not sure I'll even touch on the midnight buffalo riding.

The use of Dodge pickups was probably the most obvious.

The only thing inaccurate regarding ranching and Dodge/Ram pickups is that the trucks in the show aren't old enough to have the 5.9L Cummins. Other than that minor oversight, Dodge/Ram trucks and ranching go together like Lamb and Tuna-Fish.

LOL, now I have another movie on my list to watch.

It would be nice for the river to open back up so I can more fully develop a watch list for next winter.

YouTube TV has the paramount channel and all seasons are viewable at any time. I introduced my g/f to the show and we’ve been binge watching to catch her up. Starting season 4 tonight.

Met a guy who owns a ranch in SD where they filmed dances with wolves, I guess he wasn’t a big fan of Costner, he had a few choice words about his opinion of him! I didn’t really change my opinion though,Yellowstone is too addicting being in this far.
