way to close to tournament time haha, caught fish from 3-30 feet if you are just interested in 14-16" fish you should catch about 20-50 a day in 6-16 feet on most main lake points crawlers working the best for eaters. good luck

Bites slowly improving, follow the wind.
If you find a fish or two grind on that spot.
Starting to see more 16-20 inch fatties, almost thought they were nonexistent.
Sweeney laid things out pretty good. Its not the same old fishery it once was. Be ready for lots of competition and crowded parking and fish cleaning stations.

8 to 11 was the best for me. Slow death single bead and slow death with a smiley blade produced the best. Lots of small fish.

Most the walleyes we caught were 12-15.5" only a couple pushed past 16" did lose one big girl by the boat. Tons of smallies from 10"-16.5", handful of pike, a drum, a couple skipjacks, a perch, a white bass and carp so we did well on variety and entertaining the youngins
