      I wouldn't do clover now. Better off with something like rye, winter wheat or brassicas this time of year.

      Planted clover alfalfa plot yesterday for the future. Brassica are up and they look good. Another plot next week of canola and other brassica and winter oats.

      Deer are eating big time on my soybeans and did mix some in about two weeks ago. About five inches tall now.

      Other crops might be better but we seeded new alfalfa fields right after we combined barley many times if there was moisture. It would get about a foot high and hold snow. Didn't start cutting it for hay until the next spring. Clover shouldn't be any different.
