What a hog. Not sure why he thinks it lost weight in his livewell? Unless it puked up a Cisco, or two it should be the same.

Beast. Yes they will loose weight. I’ve read numerous articles from biologists over the years. They’ve gone into details about how much over given periods of time in the well. I don’t recall all the details. But it would be less than a pound still even on a fish that size

My buddy was there when it was caught, actually held it. The guy couldn’t find a MT FWP official go verify it on the certified scale in a timely manner, fish sat in a cooler for a while, definitely lost the weight there.
