Still vote UTV. Roll cage, seat belt, helmet. Ours won't go more than 5 mph unless the seat belts are buckled. Can set a geo fence too.

We have the cheaper coolester brand as well. It has a crew on the throttle to adjust how fast it can go. It also has a remote if you are with in a cretin distance you can kill the ATV if something is going wrong. We have a one acre yard and will shut it off from one side to teh other. I also grew up riding and we wanted our girls to do the same. One girl is actually to big for it now buy my 8 year old loves it. Helmet is a must for our kids but yes do try and get them something. Make memories.

Have been looking for a used Ranger 150, etc. for several months. Agree with previous comments that they hold their value for several years. Looked at a 5 year old 150 in good condition and it sold for $3900 within days of being listed.
