If you would treat Mrs. JuanR better, she would quit kicking you in the knee. ;:;rofl That almost looks like its going to start stinking soon. ;:;barfJoshi now has his practice at the clinic in Watford City.

You only have two wheels. I'd make sure I did as much as I could to keep them in good order.

Yeah, that looks bad. Shouldn’t be that swollen 10 days later. Time to see a specialist!

Saturday the 10th. The swelling is about half what it was, but the bruising is grotesque

Pussy, rub some dirt on it and get back out there. I know all of us eastern nodak boys wouldnt even have a bruise. How many Busch lights were consumed prior to this fall?
On a serious note go,see an ortho and let them manage your case.

If it were me I'd take the above advice plus quality supplements and aspirin to stave blood clots. I hate to see that, especially at this peak time of year. Here's to quick recovery without re-hab.

Truly an unfortunate time to have an injury such as this, with the covid shit going on, the hospitals are sort of filled considering staffing problems, and not so much going on with other surgeries the pressure to do extra surgeries in ortho might be more appealing to hospital administrators, hence there might be a rush to do a repair, it's a catch 22 whether it's really needed or not. But the chance of a blood clot is real. No real advise but at a second or third opinion might be helpful

Look up Dr. Joshi. Hes about the best orthopedic surgeon in the state.
He fixed my knee when I broke the patellar tendon. I was out in Montana on an elk hunt about 3 months after it happened. Another thing that really helps with the swelling is ultrasound therapy. My chiropractor does it for me and I can tell you first hand it is phenomenal for taking down swelling and reducing pain.

Your the first person I've ever heard say Joshi is the best. I've heard more bad things about the surgeries he has done to people. My Dad had a torn rotator cuff worked on by him, he claimed to have fixed it, sent my dad to therapy and his shoulder never got better, Dad goes back to see Joshi and Joshi tells him oh by the way I couldn't fix it or it didn't hold or something like that. So Dad goes to Bismarck to the Bone and Joint center and has a shoulder reversal done. Have heard of at least two other people that had rotator cuffs worked on by him that basically got screwed up worse than before.
I used to laugh at his commericals on TV, He had a young lady who played volleyball praising him and telling how good of job he did on her three knee surgeries. I'd laugh thinking if she'd have went somewhere else she'd have only needed one surgery instead of three.

First off, quit applying heat, while it might "feel" good, you are theoretically continually restarting the healing process and influencing inflammation. Based on your method of injury I would guess that you likely have some type of soft tissue injury as opposed to a bony injury, thus an x-ray will tell you nothing. As many others have stated, your next step is likely an MRI. With the results of an MRI seriously consider whether you "need" surgery versus conservative rehab. Many MANY knee injuries including MCL, ACL, meniscus injuries don't require a surgery to recover from, but an orthopedist is going to tell you that's your best bet for a full recovery - just lining his pockets.

Don't see Dr. Joshi. If you choose to have a surgery, have it done in Bismarck or Fargo.

Thats interesting. Like I said, I had a great experience with him and my knee surgery. As for the girl in the video without knowing her situation it's really kinda hard to know if she would have only needed one surgery or 3... it's kind of shitty to bring that up and imply that she needed 3 because you think he's a shitty Dr. without knowing all the facts... I mean obviously she must have been pretty pleased with the care that she got, otherwise why would she be recommending him as a Dr.?

My recommendation for him is from my personal experience. When I jacked up my knee, I was ready to jump on a plane and fly out to california to have a family friend who has been an orthopedic surgeon for 40 years repair it for me. When I called him, he advised against it and said to go see Dr. Joshi because he was the best.

JR were you window peeping again and then fell off that ledge?
I agree on an MRI.
I also have an Ultrasound Machine and they are worth their weight in gold. If i was back in NoDak you could have certainly used it.
Go see a good Orthopedic guy/gal and just be ready when they start moving or pushing with their thumb on your knee. When they hit the right spot believe me it will light you up! :;:exactly

99% sure you tore your ubulous dorsimus

1% your MCL if your foot hit the ground first or PCL if your knee contacted the ground first with your full bodyweight. With that much bruising very well could have tore a muscle/tendon. Usually those type of injuries happen so fast a guy doesn't really remember how they exactly landed

I know a guy who slightly tore a muscle in his shoulder. He had a bruise like that from his elbow to his shoulder blade. All without a lot of pain.

Nonetheless, even if you didn't before, you officially now have the ugliest leg on NDA, and I don't even need/want to see the other competitors' drumsticks.
