I see the Kdrill comes in 3 size now: 6", 7.5" and 8.5". I'm a little confused, I thought they used to be 8" but were really 7.5". Have they changed to "actual" size now where the old 8" is now the 7.5" or are they still off by a half inch so the new 8.5" is really 8"?

I think they are finally just admitting that the 8” was a 7.5” and now they came out with the new 8.5”. Not sure why they didn’t just make the new one a 9”, so they could have had a 6, 7.5, 9

Had the 8 since they came out, noticed it was a bit smaller. Been a great light auger, very trouble free! 1/2” smaller isn’t a big deal.

Just in case anyone was wondering, the 8" Slush Inhaler barely fits into the original 8" (7.5) K-Drill hole. The snug fit is actually pretty nice since it seems to allow for even more of the slush to be gathered.

I think I'm selling my Strikemaster solo auger this year. Haven't used it in two years to drill a hole, but I have started it several times and changed gas to keep it running well. What do you guys think a fair price would be?

honestly, $125-150.

I’ll more than likely be donating mine to a young angler trying to get into the game in the near future.

I sold my gas strikemaster with both an 8" and 10" bits included for $150 last year. Every year they will be harder to sell as just about everyone is going electric.

Depends who measures it, I measured it as a 7.5" but K Drill last year measured it as a 8". I see that the cutting edges for the old 8" are the same as the new 7.5"

Yeah a gas auger almost isn’t worth selling, might as well just keep em as backup or for really thick ice years. I have a Honda strike master that I haven’t used in two years. I Recently saw one for sale on Bisman for $150.

As many jiffy propane’s as I see for sale, I’m assuming you must not be able to even give those things away.
