This made me laugh. So true.I like it when they do "ballistic comparisons" and the data for the new hotness is using the latest streamlined bullets, but the comparison cartridges are using some mangled wadcutter from 1902.
The 6.5 Creed comparison is fair enough, but there's a lot better bullets for 7mm RM and 300 WSM.

Between 243 and 284 a 264 and 277 or even better a 6.8 would be great. I'm not sure a 295 would go over that well, but maybe today if you called it a 7.5mm people would flock to it's magic. I was waiting to buy a 6.5WSM, but Winchester let me down and decided to go redundant with the .277 and .284.When will the chasm between .224 and .243 or .284 and .308 be filled?
