      I also agree with Allen. I see no downside to research that can potentially improve opportunities for outdoorsmen. Think of what the research might bring if they could find a way to reduce one species, how helpful that may be to reduce a species not wanted. Perhaps something like zebra mussels could be alleviated from this research. That is one of the prime purposes of a fish hatchery other than just hatching eggs.

      Correct, those are USFWS employees doing the work. It doesn't say who is funding it, but I'd guess it's probably federally funded. Perhaps with some state partners from those places that prefer trout over walleye.
