River at washburn wide open. Ramp usable. Boat on river Saturday afternoon as I drove by.
Would assume Bismarck is ready mid week

Lots of fishing villages early weekend on Devils. Now, not so much, pretty much foot traffic for the rest of ice season. Last 3-4 days did some ice damage. Ice is/was thick once on...getting on and off was the issue.

DOT camera on 4 Bears bridge this afternoon showed river opening up on west shoreline. She's gonna go quick...guessing you'll be able to get a boat in at the casino ramp in 2 weeks.

We just drove from Minot to San Jose, CA from Thursday - Saturday. The Mo River from below Garrison Dam to Bismarck was open where we could see it. I saw 1 small flock of about 30 geese between Max and the river flying NE and another larger flock just north on Bismarck of about 100 again flying NE. In Montana the Yellowstone was open wherever we could see it. South on US 191 out of Bozeman the Gallatin was open all the way to it's headwaters and I saw several fly fishermen in the water. In Idaho the Madison was wide open wherever we saw it. Everything else we saw in NV and CA was wide open and flowing.

ps: If anybody needs more hardwater fishing, go to Metigoshe. Lots of fish houses and trucks still on the Lake last Wednesday.

As of friday night, lots of ice fisherman on Audobon, and East end Sak.

As of yesterday afternoon, river half open in Bismarck, and looks to be close to wide open down by Fox Island (as viewed from the Expy Bridge).

Heck yeah I’m excited to get the boat out, hopefully it stays warm long enough to get some good open water soon

Watch out so you don't hit a dead cow!

[h=1]North Dakota rancher, DEQ working to recover dead cattle from Missouri River[/h]OLIVER COUNTY, N.D. (KFYR) - The Oliver County Sheriff says approximately 25 head of cattle are dead in the Missouri River after they fell through the ice on March 3.
Oliver County Sheriff David Hillard says it is believed the cattle walked on to and fell through the ice.
The Department of Environmental Quality is working with the cattle rancher to recover all the carcasses from the river.
“We have been working with the producer and they are working toward a good solution to get what carcasses they can get removed from the river,” said Karl Rockeman, director of Division of Water Quality.

Oliver County notified the Burleigh County Sheriff’s Department on Monday of the cattle floating down the river.
As of Tuesday morning, the Burleigh County Sheriff’s Department had not received any complaints or reports.
“The bigger concern is the simple question of the aesthetics of having carcasses and the nuisance conditions those can create. I don’t see any impact to the drinking water for anyone who is using the river,“ said Rockeman.

River wide open at Little Heart River bottoms and Sugarloaf. Boat ramps however were not pushed off yet. Wouldn't take much at Sugarloaf to open that one; someone with a blade on the front end of a pickup. Little Heart has a pretty thick chunk of ice on it yet.

25 head of cattle drowned, man that is a BIG loss.
Wonder if insurance will cover them?

Seems as though Price is a giant operation - guessing they'll be ok. But the ranchers I know don't insure their cattle.
