Thanks for doing the right thing for the pups sake. I'm in this scenario too but I've seen too many times how people don't have time for a dog and get one anyway. A cat helps and they are ok being alone but you can't teach them as many tricks.

Totally agree! But, anyone know how tough it would be to find a shepherd/lab cross pup anyway?

I believe the Stanley Animal Rescue Group has what they believe is a shepard/lab-huskie pup available for adoption.
