---Just making sure you know my thread intent was improvising projectiles for food...death for the sake of death is not entertaining.

What if I'm killing to defend my food's food? Example: Saving untold billions of blades of grass for cows to eat via the vermin flying circus.

22-250 speer 53 grain hollow point, backed by 31 grains of 4895 is what I loaded for. Was a little slower but did not heat the barrel as bad when I shot tourneys. Still would just leave bits and pieces. LB

Which "could" be addressed. Perhaps saw/cut/clip off a bit of crimp and introduce fluff in the case?...A spark could be unfortunate.
