I don't believe a can will have any sound effect with the above. I perceive no appreciable difference with HV .22 rds from a rifle. FWIW I have amazing tinnitus in my left ear.

Interesting, but kind of disappointing. I thought this would be about 'sploding prairie dogs or other vermin.
FWIW: 53gr v-max out of a 22-250 @ 3840fps is pretty spectacular. 69gr TMK out of a 22 Creed @ 3600+ is similarly devastating.

I didn't mean the thread as click bait. Apologies. A SHTF option that would vaporize squirrel heads.

6MM 105 'Max @ 3200 is a 'flinger as well.

2 questions. If the range was empty, as he claimed, who else is shooting? If its so dangerous, why is he shouldering the rifle and putting it up by his face? :;:lame

First question to my mind was: How hard would it be to machine .223/.224 bullet molds?

^^^^I was thinking drill press and 3/4 inch steel plate....

Considerations for rolling your own .22 bullets (warning: very long and clinical--like an HR video)

---Just making sure you know my thread intent was improvising projectiles for food...death for the sake of death is not entertaining.
