capt seen plenty of these things in my area where we bow fish,vert from carp in my case,most leave carp/suckers to rot on shore which is illegal in mn or toss shot rough fish back in the water to wash up on shore and rot away leaving these skeletons on shorelines and stink.
and inevitably my fucking dog will find that stink, roll in it and make me puke all the way to the dog wash...

The bones protruding off the side of vertebrae are called transverse process bones. I broke two of them in my back 8-9 yrs ago. Holy hell was that painful!

Ain't that the truth Jr,same here shithead rolls in deer shit,cow turds...anything that stinks but loves dead fish,although he didn't like skunk juice.
