Mice?

I seen my first one back in the early 70's with in 100 ft of the Sheyenne River by Harvey.

Must be a sub species to the woodland jumper,first we have e legged frogs now mice with frog legs,this meadow mouse is much smaller than this woodlane jumper,I can see a new sporting clays event in the near future right next to the "rabbit" target...timing is everything.

Got home from work tonight and watched the cat chasing this thing around. Was jumping a good 2 to 3ft at a time. I put jump + mouse together and figure it's a jumping mouse. Cat finally won this round 20210518_202110.jpg
