      Transferring of fish to weigh station

      I'm curious what other tournaments, that aren't catch record release style, use to transfer fish from the boat to the weigh station. I'm on the tournament committee for Dakota Anglers in Jamestown and we're trying to find a way to not get peoples boats full of water and slime when transferring.

      So your trying to get the fish from the weigh station to the cleaning station without putting them back in the boat livewell I'd assume?
      Large coolers work well, or like dirty mike said, rubber maid totes work good too, can just hose them out when done

      In Mobridge they use a heavy duty plastic bag. I would guess 6 mil poly but maybe 4 mil.

      IMHO Major League Fishing has got it right in many ways. Disappointed BASS hasn't adopted the format. It could be a festival event with numerous big screens. Don't know what PWT is doing. It could have the same deal.

      Not sure how thick 10 ply is or if ply is even a unit of measure. I know mil is a metric unit used to measure polyurethane. As an old asbestos abatement worker I hung up hundreds of rolls of 4 mil and 6 mil. I had to cut up my fish bag to seal up my RV bathroom vent that blew off in the storms Thursday. Sure feels like the 6 mil poly we used maybe even thicker....so maybe 10 ply. IDK?? I know the 6 mil polyurethane bags we used could hold an antelope. I just used one to carry my 50 lb dog out of the vet's office after having to put him down.
