Some of my Pflueger reels are getting sloppy.

Send in for refurb or buy Piscifun and try them?

What's the word on Piscifun vs Supreme XT class of Pfluegers?

Saw some of the youtube guys using them and am piscicurious.

No experience with the Piscifun but would be tough to beat the Supreme XT. Smoothest spinning I own.

I think I’m going to try their saltwater spinning reels. None of my pfluegers made it very long in the saltwater here. I’ve been pretty darn happy with the few Penn reels now as well. Same feel and sizes run similar to pflueger. Really surprised they don’t have more of a following up Nort

No complaints on my end with the Piscifun reels. As of right now, that’s what I’ll be buying when I need to replace a reel. I’ve only run them one season but like them so far especially based on price.

Earlier this summer I installed my last coveted Japanese production Shimano Stradic upon a new jigging rod.

I've owned a couple of the newer Malaysian produced Stradics and they're of no comparison to the Japanese production models.

I've been hunting for a Japanese Stradic replacement for quite a while and still no-joy. :(

If they made the Exsence in something smaller than a 3000 spool, that'd be my new "Go-to".
