I hates the skeeters. But I am FAR from ready for winter. My most favorite season is only days away. Highs in the 60's, lows in the 40's. Gimme that all year long.

Amen and Hallelujah! Preach it brotha! Sick and tired of flies, bloodsuckers and the heat!

Plus, I got a new-to-me ice house...one with a door knob instead of a zipper!

Been a skeeter free zone at my place all summer as well, dryer than a popcorn fart, even my creek out back is dried up....

long weekend had me gettin things ready for winter, power washed the house, picnic table (will stain it later),patio power washed, even my aluminum utility trailer, all the power tools leak oil, used a product called "aluma brite" stuff cleaned up oxidation on the trailer and black crud on the concrete.pretty much set.

I was just going through the ice fishing stuff and fired the auger up. I told the wife we need the new 850XD and I got the eye roll. She bought the 650XD last year. Even though we are enjoying the new boat, I am tired of being hot and miserable on the water and all the dang bugs lately are enough to drive a person nuts.

This was the deer I helped my buddy retrieve while being eaten alive by mosquitoes.
