Just looking for reports of water temps on some of the area lakes such as Audubon and New Johns and/or any others as we move into the fall season and water temps start to drop.

Sakakawea was around 68-70 degrees last over the holiday weekend depending on where we were from Shell Island all the way down to McKenzie bay.

Audubon was 65 today, fishing was slow. We picked up and hit New John’s and fishing was the same there. Water temp was 66 at New John’s.

Sakakawea from deep water to McKenzie was 65-66 degrees today. Ripped Jig-Raps for 6 hours, didn’t catch much until noon, then smacked 7 in 20 minutes and back to nothing.

It’s interesting the smaller lakes are about the same temp as the big lake, I expect that’s likely to change over the next month but maybe I’m wrong, hence why I started this thread, lol

So much for cooling lake water! Sakakawea was still 66 this past weekend and I don’t see that changing much before next weekend with the 7 day forecast being mid 70s to 80 degrees!
