Finished installing the snowblower and SuperATV cab and heater. The cab seems really good. The snowblower seems heavy duty enough and convenient to attach now that has been done once. I did have to do some fabricating of the universal snowblower mount plate. Outside of that everything was pretty straight forward. If you get the cab kit, put the roof on last.

Tried out the UTV Snowblower. It works pretty good! PXL_20211227_140624808.MP.jpgwe got 6in or so in Dickinson. It handled this well including the few drifts that where waist high. It doesn't quite eat snow like bobcat snowblower, but I'm pretty happy with it. The machine did have a busted coil though.

Glad it's in the high 40's-low 50's here in San Jose and I'm not trying to get to the ski areas in the Sierra's which are snowed in. All done with that.

We have had a lot of rain tho but we NEED that.

Ah yes....ski area/snowed in....great memories here, years ago snowed in whilst skiing "Alta",heavy snow caused 3 avalanches shutting down the resort road back to salt lake city,we were stranded with a couple hundred other folks, turned out to be the biggest slumber party in my life, pissy pants drunk all night, resort put out sleeping cotts/wool blanlets, following morning 50"s of utah fresh lite powder snow, skied our asses off in untracked powder dawn till dusk that day...

i have the rm4 quick attach with moose 60" plow on my 2011 polaris sportsman 500, usually dont have an issue with traction. have had it for 5 years now and still works like new. i put a viper winch in the wheeler. i use the blade to make a windrow and then the blower to send it to the neighbors property. i just ordered a general with the polaris quick attach blow set up as i got a deal with it when buying the sxs or i would do the moose rm5 set up again

My bro and I worked in SW Wyoming in '73-'75 and skied at Alta and Snowbird many times. Bunny runs at Snowbird were black diamonds elsewhere!

Same with Jackson Hole....Steep-n-deep...only jumped into Corbets once ....shit your pants scary triple black diamond.

My last winter in Alta, early 70's,first year bird opened up,we would take the lone single chair(in alta) to to schutes funneling into snowbird, ski down the narrow shutes to the road and hitch hike back to Alta...chest shots all the way down those shutes, wood core 210cm skis....today on these short fat skis I'd kill myself....to old to re-learn....knees are shot.

Down side to ski bumming in utah.no night life, dry state at the time....Jackson Hole was my fav.but again very little night life but we made the sheep nervous...

Later in life I landed in colorado, living in breckenridge by winter, working alaskan oil fields by summer (Arco oil) Vail was my huckleberry when we had a chance to road trip the 30 miles to vail, hot in shape ski minxes from around the world,5 mountains to ski.Great times were had

A plow works great for 4" or less of snow, anything over that or drifted harder stuff will require a blower or loader. I use my ATV plow far more than my tractor, it's way faster and just easier to use for light nuisance snows. Nice to have the tractor for the bigger storms and wind drifted stuff though.

So far, I have been thoroughly impressed with how much snow this setup will move. It's like running a dozer fill, I can stack snow as high as I want too. 66" Kimpex Click N Go 2 plow on a Yamaha Grizzly.

I think we need more pictures of the setup 1lessdog...maybe even a video of it action...

I put 350 lbs of sand bags in the back and it just crawls thru the snow.

I had to rob the push tube off my blower setup to put on my plow. Thats what happens when you hit the side of the driveway when pushing snow at about 15 mph.

Nothing like maintaining and keeping three engines and pieces of equipment working to do the job of one.....
