Good thing it was a 234. We all know what happens when it's the "other" one.
On a side note:
I didn't shoot my deer with a Barnes product this fall. I think hell may be freezing over....
I shot my buck @ 100 yards with my 264 and a 156 EOL. Hard quartering with it's ass to me. Entered rear rib cage and exited front offside shoulder. Quarter sized going in...MULTPLE exit wounds. Largest being 2x quarter sized. I found pieces of that bullet in the front shoulder, heart, rear quarter and backstrap. Lungs were complete goo, liver was half gone and there was a dime sized hole in it's heart.
Deer didn't even twitch. He just fell straight down and laid there.
It was a clear, crisp, calm morning and I think the thud of that bullet hitting is still echoing down that draw.
The bullet fragments I found weighed 26.8 gr combined.
It was interesting.
