Apparently the tinkle doesn’t fall far from the mattress. Without any prompting from me, one of the little Bed Wetters commandeered a bucket from the bunker and set it out on the patio for meteorological purposes. So I guess Weather Bucket has returned, but now identifies as Menards instead of Mac’s Hardware. I’ll try to post updates as the storm rages in Fargay.

It’s not snowing in Little Minneapolis at the moment, but WB tells me this is what they call a “fool’s front” (technical term) and Mother Nature is still going to put a boot up our ass before this thing is over.

This should be in an ND tourism campaign. “Come to North Dakota” they said. “It’ll be fun” they said.

“North Dakota: come for the white Christmas, stay because you’re trapped here.”

North Dakota: voted the #2 state for dying cold and alone.

Bismarck this morning, is yucky. I made it to work, but some of the roads are deep. Negative temps, 40 mph winds, on top of all the loose light snow we received in the past couple of days.

I'm going to go put the blade on the truck, and start moving some snow.

I started the neighbors alarm clock at 5:30 this morning to clean the driveway, wife works at 6 (at the hospital). Driveway is 25 x 40 feet. Had anywhere from 5 to 16 inches of snow in it, weather gal said we got 9"s. Wind is the issue now.

I took her to work and the city had the snow emergency and major streets cleared. :;:thumbsup

I live on a dead end street and they have a blade on a pay loader with the gate they drop to not plug up the end of the driveway. He never dropped it for mine. Glad I have a snow blower. :;:exactly

Feel sorry for you boys, we are to get up to 6'' of snow between now through Wednesday. It will be gone in a day or two.
We got 3 1/2'' of rain one day last week. We need it as it has been super dry.
I like the way the weather is here, if you don't want to move the snow, just leave it and it will be gone in a few days, not a few months like up in NoDak. Spent enough years up there moving snow. Often wondered how many times one would move the same snow in a winter? :;:huh

There’s a joke in Fargo, “it hasn’t snowed here for years, it’s just the same stuff blowing around.”

True. I pretty much want everything to slow down. I was wader fishing into December this year. Didn't want to give it up. I finally had to quit when there was ice bergs floating along.

Along about February, people are going to start whining because they're sick of winter.

I saw Easter Candy at a store yesterday. It's not even New Years yet!
