Valley City area ice conditions

Drove by a couple lakes in that area that had quite a few pickups on them yesterday so access appears to be good. Probably will be a lot of changes by the weekend though with the big warmup coming.

drill the hole behind you, run the cable underneath the vehicle and start the winch, it will pull you backwards just the same as forward, for a bit anyway, should be enough to get you going.

thought about that - but running a cable/rope under a buried slush puddle seems rather challenging

Are there any plowed trails on Ashtabula? Can a guy drive on any of the VC area lakes like Hobart or Eckelson? Or is it pretty much tracked vehicles only?

Was there with @CatDaddy on Sunday. 14in where we were off of Sundstroms. We walked but there were 2-3 4wheelers and 2-3 SxS and two planes
