You know the one on tv that cuts the pop can then slices tomatoes- don't use that one and you should be fine.

I have a benchmade saddle mountain skinner that I love. I've had it for a couple seasons and have done probably 10 deer with it and only touched up the blade. I was going to send it to Benchmade to have it sharpened this year to see how it comes back. I've read good and bad on their sharpening services so we'll see how it goes.

I have 2 Saddle mountain skinners (I got one as a present that has my name etched in it) and a Bushcrafter. I love them. I did send all 3 in last year to get sharpened and I was extremely happy with the results. Only about 2 weeks went by between when I sent them off and went I got them back. They came back sharper than when they were new and have held their edge great so far.
