Major General Alexander "Mac" MacDonald was our former Adjutant General of ND. A personal friend of my late father's, he displayed model airplanes of both the first and last he was to fly, in service. I built him a model P51-D and F-4 Phantom, both with ANG Happy Hooligan markings. I was pretty proud that such an honorable man had my models in his office.
