Why is it that I can walk across the rocks to a wobbly dock, stroll down the wobbly dock like I own the world, and step down into a bobbing boat with a full mixed drink and NOT spill a drop, but just two hours before couldn't walk across a perfectly flat, rock solid, unmoving floor without wearing hot coffee on my hand or wrist at least once???? Can someone explain that shrite to me??

Yep rocks on shoreline no problem, tend to trip over the designs on an area rug.

I’ve fallen down stairs before head over heels without spilling my mixed drink, yet I spill my coffee almost every time I pour a cup.

Cure is dont fill the coffee to with in a 1/16 of and inch of the top. And nobody wants to spill a good mixed drink at any time. LB

Ice is now the scariest hazard at my advanced age.
I otherwise do not fall or even worry about it. I have a worsening fear of ladders and heights now too

Unfortunately those commercials "help I've fallen and I can't get up" are real. Sucks to get old and believe me, it comes quick.

I tend to walk better when I'm drunk..

Went to the Toby Keith concert the last time he was at the fair. I did OK walking but by the time I staggered my way to the car I had walked an extra 2 blocks to get to there. ;:;rofl

I stepped on a thorn today that went through the bottom of a cheap boot. Limping good now.

I too fear the ice, but why does it happen in the blink of an eye but you can think of a million things before you hit the ground. LB

Camera phones/recorders are truly a blessing and a curse. Doesn’t involve falling but the first time this year that I was trying to get my weed whacker started I probably looked and sounded funny with the angry motions and colorful language. My neighbor buddy was chuckling and called out hey wait a minute I wanna put this on youtube. I laughed and called back and told him where he could put his phone

I stubbed my foot and tripped, without falling, but enough to say "you motherfucking cunt" to my driveway, as the neighbor was walking by to his mailbox, and gave me an odd look as if I was saying that to him...

In the "Angry Snow Dance" clip I see:

Bulged spinal discs
Stressed hip-flexors
Pulled groin "stuff"
Potential for pulled/strained "stuff" in knees and ankles
Plantar fasciitis
Abdominal pulls/strains
Aggravation of any previous rotator-cuff/bursitis issues

And of course, seriously bruised ego.

I know!!! When I watch that I just think of how sore that sucker must have been after that. He’d have been better off falling probably.

Yep - many times I have wondered if the Miracle on Ice save from a fall wasn't a big mistake.
