Put in for buck only this year. Plenty of meat in the freezer. Looks like I'll be shooting pheasants.

Nothing for me, wife got a doe, kid got a buck, and uncle got a buck. I will also be on bird/yote patrol this year.

Any-Antlered for me! Daughter was unsuccessful for her youth buck so her and my son will both have statewide does.

11 point for muzzleloader and still no tag;:;banghead
According to last years statistics only 23.5% of people drew with 10 points, that's as far out as their statistics go. I wonder who has the most Muzzy points, probably people out there with at least 15 maybe even 20.

Will have 9 preference points for rifle and muzzy for 2023. Maybe draw one by 2030 (unless residency changes)! My wife has a November cow moose tag so it’s kinda a relief to confirm I didn’t draw ND deer!

best of luck to everyone that drew and don’t be afraid to eat some doe tags!

Isn't the youth buck guaranteed? I thought one could get turned down for the muley but were then given a state wide white tail buck tag

would’ve been bad timing for a muzzy tag anyways with deer numbers the way they are! Waiting 10 years to hunt a low population of spikes isn’t worth it. Silver linings man!

The North Dakota Game and Fish Department completed its annual spring mule deer survey in May, and results indicate western North Dakota’s mule deer population is 13% higher than last year and 34% above the long-term average.

Doe for me, denied for muzzy. I'll likely end up tagging a doe with the bow as well. I'm after the meat anyways.
