anybody catch a fisher, a buddy of mine did got to help skin it. very nice pelt.

KDM got a couple last year. After season of course both were still alive so he was able to release them.

Yea. My son and a buddy are trapping them now. I told them they are gonna spend more on gas than the rats are worth. Keeps them busy though. Better than out drinking.

anybody out trapping coons yet? i saw probably 5 coons and maybe 4 skunks dead on the road this weekend. just seeing if it worth driving out to check traps everyday or waiting a couple more weeks.

A buddy shot 2 coons down by antelope creek last week, they are out and about.

If your trapping them just to trap them, now is as good as any to start. With the warm weather they arw out. If you are hoping to make any money you will be disappointed.

I haven't had a good piece of fur in my snares in 2 week's. I pulled the last on my line yesterday had 2 fox that were rubbed real bad a mangy yote and a bunny now quite sure how that happened. If a guy is just looking to get rid of some egg robbers I would go out and give it a try.

i wasn't gonna try to make any money off of them but was hoping for some furs to tan. ill still do it for fun and like what was mentioned above, i can get some egg robbers out of the mix.

i have never tried calling coons. last night i was fleshing out a beaver and up around his cheeks/face was having trouble. now do i thin out to where the whiskers pull through the flesh side? how do i deal with those hair follicles?
