Moose Reports: Let's Help Our Fellow Moose Hunters

I actually bumped a young bull out of a slough about a half hour SW of Fargo last December during a late season pheasant hunt. Scared the poop out of me. My boy and I also saw another young bull just north of Brewer Lake last October high-tailing it across a harvested corn field.

I've seen more moose in SE ND during my time here than I ever would have imagined possible.

Was able to hook up with this gal just north of Lonetree WMA and straight south of Marvin.
There's a calf wandering around out there if anyone is interested. I kinda feel bad about that, but I guess we all have to grow up sometime.

Drove around from lignite to powers lake this morning and seen 5moose 3 were bulls. A couple very nice ones.

One at Fargo airport yesterday afternoon.

Seen a dandy Bull on Tues north of Tioga. About half mile to a mile south of highway 50 intersection west of the highway. I'd guess it's 40+ inches.

Saw quite a few moose yesterday, it was pretty darn cool! Just haven't seen a mature bull thou, but we are having a good time looking for one. Landowners have all been great to deal with that's for sure!:;:cheers

That's awesome! How wide was he? We were all around that country yesterday, right place right time!
We would have gladly went after the other one.
