My wife wasn't really happy that I kept cutting leaves off her plants for our templates.

I've only researched cerakote. I think if I was to do any with an airbrush, I'd pick up another cheap one specifically for that use. Where did you get the krytec stencil?

the fairer sex appreciates a nice smelling pad, so I make sure to have plenty of candles on supply so I don't actually have to clean

Before the miss "blessed" my life with her presence I always had a few linen smelling candles and shit pray around. Made the place smell springtime fresh!

As long as we're hijacking Sup's thread... 6 different colors of Krylon on this stock. Seems abstract, it's not. I don't have the heart to paint a scope - literally. I have a medical condition that causes me to constantly buy and sell scopes and the paint would hurt resale.

Don't overlook zolatone as an option to spray on your stocks. I have two stocks with spray on zolatone. One being jungle green and the other desert camo. On my third I'm thinking of going with medusa zolatone.

Ebay. There's a number of options there:

I don't think they're officially licensed, so I'm going to refer to them as "Kryptek-style" stencils.

I finally did the 556. Turned out pretty good, but I found out that if you use a non-adhesive stencil, you're probably better off just holding it and spraying each spot individually instead of trying to wrap a flat stencil around rounded gun parts and spraying all at once.

I'm not sold on the black grip. It looked better when the suppressor was black. It's rubberized, so not really paintable. May need to do something there.

Rollin down Rodeo with a Shotgun...

I recently did an original Super Black Eagle for a buddy.
It's his duck / goose gun, so I figured a duck theme was appropriate. I used a decoy bag for the pattern and then softened it a bit with an overshot of FDE. Ended up with 5 different colors on it.

I'm going to have a hard time giving it back to him...

That is excellent workmanship SY. I bought a bottle of degreaser. The contents said Isopropyl alcohol. Ever since I have been using the newer Heat that you put in your gas tank in winter. The new Heat for new cars is Isopropyl so that's all I have been using for years to degrease. Wear vinyl gloves because it will also take the oils out of your skin.

A bottle of isopropyl alcohol from the first-aid section at walmart is my go-to. It's cheap and works great.

Also inspired by Bed Wetter:

Send me your bowties and I'll paint them with Duracoat for $50.
Replacement set costs $125: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00P45JACU/?tag=nodakangler10-20

PM me if interested. I'll tell you the easiest way to get both front and rear bowties off.
I might also be talked into doing a gun or two.
Sorry, I don't work with Ford or Dodge. :)

Come on -- That's a subtle, but distinct upgrade. I didn't go all 'racing stripes' on it like I did with my Caprice and a can of spray paint in high school. It's tempting though...
