Just finished this up for a customer. This was a challenge to get to where I felt it disappeared. The customer brought a hoodie for me to match which is damn difficult to do but I think its close. paint 1.jpgpaint 2.jpg

As you know certain areas are hard to work with stencils. I have learned certain areas with a lot of texture or shape changes often times end up looking bad so in those areas it works to just leave those areas solid color. Also stacking too many stencils don't work either as they can get buried so male and female are the way to go but female requires a lot of masking for overspray even with a fine tip airbrush.

Scopes are tough for stencils due to the conical shapes, and it can be tough to determine which parts to paint and which to leave. I recently did one to match my AR-10.
It's not perfect, but it works.
