I have found one in LM in my 30 years here. The sand hills have morels. So does lakes country.

We need rain.

I found about a pound and a half today in a couple hours. Also got about about a pound of asparagus to go with it for supper.

Sauteed in butter with a little garlic and lots of salt and pepper, even the asparagus might look good.

Found three today. Not a lot but a good start and the first ones I've ever found. Ran into some trouble once I found a patch of asparagus though. Apparently my neighbor didn't want me rooting around in her garden. Like I get it Barb. 'You work hard on that' blah, blah, blah. Look, if it's not in my garden, it's wild to me.

used to but the grasshoppers took over and now if you don't pick them when they are real small they will be gone.
