Recently went down this same road after my dad passed away I inherited his coin collection,old silver dollars,all circulated, a pile of Kennedy and walking lady pieces .50 all silver no copper uncirculated, old mercury head dimes,Indian head nickels and pennies... checked with a few collectors all told me the same no value for circulated coins just weight value....my 1886D silver dollars I looked up online price $150,000 no go,goodluck in your area .On here? Or know of any in eastern nd.

Nope, even kids can do it. We do a big ball of Saran wrap wrapped with old coins and other goodies. The first time we did it the oldest ones were 5 and 6 , they spent a good part of the next two days asking alexa what they were worth. It has become a tradition and all 9 of them have become coin collectors and braggers .So do you have to be old or just a coin expert?![]()
