On here? Or know of any in eastern nd.
Recently went down this same road after my dad passed away I inherited his coin collection,old silver dollars,all circulated, a pile of Kennedy and walking lady pieces .50 all silver no copper uncirculated, old mercury head dimes,Indian head nickels and pennies... checked with a few collectors all told me the same no value for circulated coins just weight value....my 1886D silver dollars I looked up online price $150,000 no go,goodluck in your area .

Your best bet is to probably wait until there is a coin show in your area , where there are lots of different dealers. For a coin to be worth major dollars it has to be basically perfect. If it has been circulated at all it is basically worth the going rate of gold or silver ,

Go to ebay and search autions the coin in question. You can filter for auction results and that'll tell you what people are paying for them.

So do you have to be old or just a coin expert? 😬
Nope, even kids can do it. We do a big ball of Saran wrap wrapped with old coins and other goodies. The first time we did it the oldest ones were 5 and 6 , they spent a good part of the next two days asking alexa what they were worth. It has become a tradition and all 9 of them have become coin collectors and braggers .
