Auto Start Remote??

Anybody familiar with this remote brand. Friend got it with the car and got the car to start once by accident. Any clue brand or how it works?

Mine looks like that too and i have gotten it to work a time or maybe twice over the 3 years i have had it but that was it,
Need to find the manual. db

Might need a new battery there DB.

Garbage! I've also got one and it never works. Changed the battery a couple times and will work for a time or 2, but it's very sporadic.

Yep, Astrostart. That is the same model remote I have for my 2009 F250, so they've been around for a while now. Mine have generally been pretty durable, I have broken one in 13 years.

i have that for my truck, batteries are finicky.

Got the manual, read and still did not work.
Read again and paid attention to each word. Now it works. imagine that. db

Had that Astrostart on my '04 Pathfinder. Worked just fine until it went through the wash.

Batteries should last almost a year, if not remote is bad. Also if batteries are low lock and unlock will work but when pushing start (key) if will just single beep. sign batteries need to be changed

Lock, unlock, start are the first few buttons. Hold the 3rd button in to start.
