avian x goose decoys?

Does anyone run the avain x fully flocked decoys if so how do they hold up compared to a Dakota fully flocked? I'm going to be picking up a dozen before season starts and just wondering if I should give the avians a look since they are cheaper or just stick with the Dakotas?

They are excellent dekes. The bags they come with to store them in are somewhat a pain in the arse compared to the 6 slot bags the DD come with but def not a deal-breaker.

how Dakota is still in business is beyond me... if I pay top dollar for a decoy it better be the best looking decoy on the market. . . not a frumpy looking park goose

Does the flocking hold up pretty good on the avians?

Got to love the retractable base on the avians, I have heard good things on the flocked decoys but the painted ones may not be as durable

I've been happy with my painted Avian X's I bought a couple years ago. I haven't used the fully flocked though. If you go that route, I'll be interested to hear how they hold up.

I ordered half dozen avian afx....the look good but will test there durability in the early season and report back I will individually bag them and put in six slot bag so should hold up.......to be determined
