Click "more" from the OP on YT for the dry rub. I think a good cook could swag something decent. HOPS?...:

I won't be making that any time soon - I'd probably screw it up and die of botulism or something. I would like to taste test it though!

SE ND.
I've thought about making it many times. There is a lot of charcuterie I would like to get into but I just don't get around to the grilling, smoking and just general food experiments the last few years

I'll pass
Looks good to me and I'm the most squeamish/picky eater on the planet: An added plus is the Sioux, Zulus and Uncle Ted won't think I'm queer.

You guys are making me feel hillbilly with your fancy "charcuterie" words.

I thought it looked good paired with a few beers. And cheese and those one crackers with some olives.

Wow. Haven't thought of this in a while:

Pumpernickel bread
Coarse brown mustard
Summer sausage
Hearty cheese--not gross queer stuff

Dill pickle and thick potato chips on the side

Is it kosher
Damned if I know...The Old Testament mentions venison somewhere and admonishes getting laid in a petting zoo. I guess you could try it then blow some shit up for forgiveness according to the Koran.

Rowdie says he wouldn't eat it.

The salami pizza at Sammy's in downtown Fargo is pretty tasty. If you don't want to go downtown and get killed, get a Duane's with salami and green olives. That is all.

I'd try eating it, just don't wanna make it. My jerky is just fine, anyone I've ever given it too wants more.
