Best 12volt lights

My son wants to setup his 16' Lund with some lights for bowfishing. I do have a generator but would rather run a couple of deep cycle batteries instead of putting a $2k generator in a $500 boat... looking for suggestions on what works the best. Would like to mount them on some sort of a "light rack" so they can be pulled off easily.

Just a few clear LEDs with directional capability should work.
