I am looking for what you fellas believe is the best net for crank baits. I have went thru 2 nets that were self proclaimed "crank bait tangle free" only to find they tangle as bad as anything I have used. After fishing in last Saturday's wind and trying to untangle cranks that seated themselves deeply into the net, I just started trying to hoist them into the boat resulting in a few lost fish. The Mrs. was not impressed when she lost about a 20" at the boat because I tried to hand land it instead of using the net. Telling her that she should've set the hook better did not help the situation either.

I have the same net, same results. I think the only thing better would be a rubber net. However, I need to go back to the gym if I plan on draggin that net through the water to net a fish.

Rubber. But another option is to pick up one of those small little nets that have the green in it. When it gets real tangled just cut your crank out. They are throw away nets, after it takes enough abuse just go buy another.
